We have two Exclusive Crystal Rockhounding Areas for your Crystal Mining Experience.

Both mines produce quartz crystals that are beautiful and easy to clean. These crystals have only red clay and some Iron deposits that are easily removed with Oxilic Acid. Both of our digs are geared for experienced miners and for a pleasurable family outing. There is a nominal charge of $10 for adults, $5 for children 7-15, kids 6 and under is free. Of course you get to keep all of the crystals you find.

Fisher Mountain

Fisher Mountain also known as the "Stanley Mine" is one of the oldest and most famous mines in Montgomery County. Located only 4 miles from our shop, the "Stanly Mine" has produced some of the most beautiful "Clear" Quartz points and clusters in the Mt. Ida area. There are plenty of crystals for small children to easily find, because all of the years of active mining on Fisher Mountain. 
Pockets are available for the more expierenced miner.

Judy's Digs

Judy's Digs is our other digging locality, it's located 7 miles from our shop. Judy's digs is a mine that has been inactive for several years. We recently reopened the mine to the public in November of 2003. There are 3 different mining areas for your digging experience at this locality. Again there are plenty of crystals for small children to mine with a minnimum of effort.
Pockets are available for the more expierenced miner.
